Assessment Time Reduced
The existing new hire examination at Rapid Response Monitoring didn't reflect real-world alarm scenarios operators would encounter on the job. The assessment was time-consuming, taking significantly longer than necessary, and failed to identify critical skill gaps in new hires. This meant operators could pass the exam while still lacking competency in the specific alarm situations they'd face daily.
Executed comprehensive data analytics on the organization's needs using new hire exam metrics and QA audits. Identified critical gaps between what the assessment measured and what operators actually needed to know on the job.
Developed a revised simulator exam covering relevant, real-world alarm situations. Redesigned scenarios to test the specific competencies identified in the gap analysis, ensuring alignment between assessment and job requirements.
Leveraged AI to automate scenario generation within the simulator, dramatically reducing the time required to administer assessments while increasing the variety and relevance of test scenarios.
Maintained version control and logged all changes to the assessment to ensure compliance with organizational standards and adapt to evolving business needs. Created documentation for ongoing maintenance.

Better alignment with actual job tasks
The redesigned simulator assessment dramatically reduced evaluation time while simultaneously improving the quality and relevance of the assessment. AI-automated scenarios ensured consistent, repeatable testing across all new hires. The version-controlled approach created a living assessment that could adapt to changing business needs without compromising compliance.
